Philippians 2:1-13
Paul calls upon us to “work out our salvation with fear and trembling.” We should not “play” with God and His power, but truly allow Him to powerfully transform us into what He wants us to be.

Paul comes at last to the main issue threatening to divide the young Church in Rome: differences in personal piety rooted in their maturity of faith and understanding of grace. He calls upon them, and us, to welcome one another in love and to work to build one another up in our lives of faith.
