As Paul prays for the Ephesians, he asks that they grow in their knowledge of God as they understand the hope of their calling, the glory of their inheritance, and the greatness of God’s power at work in all who believe. We are reminded, then, that to say Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords is to say that the same power that makes Him to reign over death and sin is the power which is at work in us.
