Take Up Your Cross

Mark 8:31-39

Jesus calls us to follow Him by taking up our cross, letting go of our lives, our hopes and desires for life.  But do we really lay down all part of our lives: our time, our talent, and our treasure?  The way to true life is through this kind of letting go.
