November 22: Christ the King

Revelation 1:4-8

To say that Jesus Christ is King is one of the most subversive and encouraging things we can ever say!  Because He reigns over all we know that we have been set free from sin to live LIFE, and that even now, even when we can’t always see that He is in control, that He is bringing to fulfillment the restoration of all creation.  Until He returns, then, we are to live as His loyal subjects in the freedom of the Spirit as we seek to draw many to His Kingdom.
