Jesus approaches the tomb of His dear friend Lazarus prepared to challenge the tyranny of death, and as He calls Lazarus across the chasm of death, He gives us a foretaste of His victory over death on the Cross. This incredible passage reminds us, as we celebrate all the saints, that we, as saints of God, have been called to be unbound and to live in the eternal life that comes in obedience to Jesus.
