Women's Study Group II
Who we are
Our children, if we had families, are grown, and our conversations are sprinkled with news of our lives, our grandchildren's activities, and our travels.
This group has become more than a reading group. As we have become better acquainted we are having lunch together once a month, and occasionally travel together for a shopping trip out of town, to explore together a model home at Christmastime, or other activities. This month we have scheduled a trip to the King Tut exhibit in Los Angeles.
What kind of books do we read?
Our books are aimed toward expanding our minds and our Christian spiritual lives. We read together, stopping to question what the author is trying to tell us, how his words fit into our personal lives, and what we can learn from them. We are currently reading Renovation Of The Heart By Dallas Willard.
When do we meet?
From 9:30am to 11:15am on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month in the Fireside Room at St. Paul's Church.
We invite you to join us, Maxine Chesney, Louise Henderson, Denise Irvin, Gaye Monroe, and "Zee" Shelton.
For more information call the church office (861-6020) and Tara will contact one of us.
